Stephanie De Boer

Stephanie de Boer is excited to be the Head of MFL at GEMs Founders Dubai South.  Originally from Belfast, Ireland and with German nationality, she has spent a lot of her childhood travelling the world with her family, developing her passion for discovering new cultures and learning languages.

With a wealth of experience in teaching languages across the UK and Europe from KS1 to KS5, she brings her passion for languages and cultures to inspire a love of learning and curiosity about the world both inside and outside the classroom.

Stephanie is passionate about creating a vision, to spark a lifelong love of language learning and global curiosity in every classroom with her engaging and interactive teaching style.  She believes that learning a language is more than just mastering vocabulary—it’s about connecting with people, understanding different perspectives, and celebrating cultures. She is eager to bring this philosophy to life in her new role, creating immersive and inclusive learning experiences that ignite curiosity, foster communication skills, and open doors to the world.

Outside the classroom, Stephanie is a keen traveller and enjoys time with her family and dogs.  She is looking forward to bringing Languages to life at GFD and out students becoming  world class linguists.
