Hala Issam was born and raised in Egypt, where she studied at Al-Azhar University and graduated from the Faculty of Islamic Sharia. Her profound passion for Islamic sciences served as a powerful motivation to delve deeper into the field. She went on to obtain a General Diploma in Education, a Specialised Diploma in Islamic Sharia, and a Master’s degree in Islamic Sharia. Her principal supervisor during her Master’s studies was Dr Mohamed Ali Mahgoub, former Egyptian Minister of Awqaf (Religious Endowments), which significantly enriched her knowledge and understanding of Islamic sciences and gave her considerable depth and breadth in the subject.
Hala also worked for a time as a columnist for prominent Egyptian newspapers, including Aqeeda and Al-Gomhuria. She later transitioned into the field of teaching and now holds seven years of teaching experience in Egypt and over six years of experience in the United Arab Emirates. She is deeply committed to imparting the wealth of her expertise in Islamic education to her students and fellow educators, while nurturing moral and religious values that are in harmony with the national identity of the United Arab Emirates.
