Aaron Maravilla

Aaron Maravilla is a founding member of GEMS Founders School Dubai South, which is now in its second year of operation. He currently serves as the Assistant CCA Coordinator, playing a key role in shaping the school’s co-curricular landscape.

Having lived and worked in the UAE since 2011, Aaron brings a deep understanding of the local educational context and a strong commitment to student development. He is passionate about mathematics and finds genuine joy when children learn to love the subject. As a mathematics teacher, he is known for his engaging approach and dedication to nurturing curiosity and confidence in his pupils.

He believes that co-curricular activities are essential in developing well-rounded individuals and is enthusiastic about expanding opportunities for all students.

Outside of work, Aaron enjoys exploring the natural beauty of the UAE, often venturing into wadis and discovering hidden gems across the country. Whether hiking through rugged terrain or simply taking in the scenery, he finds inspiration in the outdoors and values the balance it brings to his life. His curiosity and adventurous spirit reflect the same energy he brings to his role at school.
