Ola ElKhatib is delighted to join GEMS Founders School – Dubai South as the Founding Head of Ministry of Education Subjects. She is an accomplished educational leader, executive coach, and teacher educator with over a decade of experience leading school improvement, curriculum innovation, and professional learning across high-performing international schools in the UAE.
Ola holds a Master of Educational Studies with Distinction, is an ICF Associate Certified Coach, and has completed the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme. She is currently undertaking the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL), further strengthening her expertise in strategic educational leadership.
Throughout her career, Ola has led curriculum development, instructional coaching, inspection readiness, and whole-school professional learning initiatives. She is passionate about empowering educators, building collaborative teams, and creating engaging learning experiences that enable every student to thrive academically and personally.
At GEMS Founders School – Dubai South, Ola is committed to fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. She looks forward to working closely with staff, students, and families to build a strong bilingual learning community where every child feels valued, challenged, and inspired to achieve their full potential.
Outside of school, Ola enjoys reading, writing poetry, taking long walks, and spending quality time with her family. She is also a proud mother of two daughters, who continue to inspire her passion for education and lifelong learning.
