Gurwinder Hunjan

Ms. Gurwinder Hunjan also known as Ms Gindy is an experienced primary educator with over 13 years of teaching and leadership experience across the UK and the UAE. Throughout her career, she has taught across Key Stage 2 and, more recently, specialised in early primary, developing a strong passion for literacy, phonics and creating engaging learning experiences that inspire young learners and support them in building strong foundations for future success.
Alongside her classroom teaching experience, Ms. Hunjan has held leadership roles in teaching and learning, curriculum development and staff coaching. She is passionate about supporting colleagues through professional development and mentoring and is currently completing the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL).
Ms. Hunjan believes that every child should feel valued, challenged and inspired to achieve their full potential. She looks forward to building positive relationships with pupils and families and contributing to a successful and enriching year of learning. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, travelling and exploring all that the UAE has to offer.
